Analytics
I Crave Anime uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read. This sets cookies and records standard usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type). It’s aggregate traffic data — we don’t use it to identify you. You can block it with any ad/tracker blocker or Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and the site works fine either way.
Newsletter
If you sign up for email updates, your email address is stored with Beehiiv, our newsletter provider, and used only to send you the emails you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing actually works — no “it may take 10 business days” nonsense.
Affiliate links
Some links to products (manga, Blu-rays, merch) are affiliate links — primarily Amazon and eBay. If you buy something through them, this site earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. Those retailers may set their own cookies when you click; their privacy policies govern what happens on their side.
Advertising
The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. You can adjust ad personalization at Google Ad Settings or opt out of third-party cookies entirely; the content here doesn’t change either way.
What we don’t do
No selling of personal data. No data brokers. No tracking pixels in emails beyond the provider’s standard open/click counts. No accounts, so no passwords to leak.
